Love... [15 Jan 2004|10:17pm] Is it true what they say about love being blind? I think it is. My friends and I were chatting earlier and the discussion somehow got on to our better halfs, they were all talking about how they didn't like this or that that there partners done... I couldn't say one bad thing about Claire. Everything she does is perfect, everything she is is beautiful, everything she wants is admirable, everything she says is amazing. Nothing compares with the finding of true love, because once you do your heart is complete. I love the way when she hugs me the worries of yesterday disappear, todays are a blur and tomorrows dont seem to matter. With true love comes no doubts, no jealousy, and no worries. If their smile warms your heart, embrace eases you, and kiss distills all wrong done to man, then you know that you have found true love. Before I met her I never thought I could be loved, I never thought I would love again, and then the moment I set eyes on her all that disappeared. She walked in the room and I couldn't take my eyes off her. Something clicked inside... True love is not something that comes everyday, Follow your heart, it knows the right answer. I was asked to describe what love felt like. Before I would always try and answer but today for some reason the question answered itself without me even thinking about. Love is like a fire burning deep inside your soul, consuming you, taking over you... And when your apart from the one you love that fire continues to grow, it gets stronger and builds up aching for its release and then when your together the fire intensifies, it burns everything else out... All your problems, your worries, all other thoughts so that all you can think about is the fire - the passion, the love. True love is not for a second, but for eternity. Is there any such thing as being together forever? Soul mates? I would like to believe Claire and I are soul mates and that we'll be together forever but then I take a step back and look around me. Look at all the failed marriages, the couples in arguements. Is there ever a happy long lasting marriage? I dont think I could live with myself if our relationship lost its 'spark' Routine doesn't suit either of us, yet thats what long-term relationships end up as... *le sigh* True love should be lived like an imperfect circle that has its bumps but never ends. [13 Jan 2004|03:09pm] Just been listening to the News about The Brits maybe coming to Glasgow next year. I think thats an exellent idea. We never get anything like that, those sort of things always go to places in England, its not fair dangit. Its not as though we dont have the venues to host it! I think I hear thunder, maybe its the begining of the storm. I hope Claire gets here soon and doesn't get caught in it! Is it just me or are kids cartoons really getting worse? They are just full of incorrect facts! I dont know, maybe as a child you don't really pick up on it that much, but the point of them is to educate our children! Thinking back on the old cartoons we had growing up as children they seem so much different to the ones shown nowadays. Maybe its just me. Maybe I should turn off CITV and actually do some work? I used to/currently collect bottle tops, when I was younger. 7. At the end of a work day/school day, the first thing I want to do is kiss my girl! 8.
